Help with MSI (Microsoft Installer) error 2705: Invalid table: [2]; Could not be linked as tree.

Are you authoring an MSI where you are linking to DLL files? If so, ensure the correct version of the DLL exists on your target system. You may also try linking to the DLLs statically vs. dynamically or dynamically vs. statically (as the case may be.)

Could be a problem with the Directory table.Usually directory table branches are broken.if recursing the Directory_Parent entries back, they should all end up at TARGETDIR.You may want to try validting the package too. It may tell you exactly which entry is broken
