Windows Installer Error 1324

The folder path '[2]' contains an invalid character.

This error normally occurs as a result of an invalid registry entry, where a value identifying a path contains an invalid character. Search the registry for the path in question. See the Microsoft KB Article listed below for a quick step-by-step for completing this process.
