Help with MSI (Microsoft Installer) error 1638: Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue. To configure or remove the existing version of this product, use Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel.

I received the MSI 1638 (invalid drive P:\) during uninstallation of a product. The only way I've found to get rid of this, was to install the Windows Installer Clean Up utility (msicuu) and to reinstall the msi.
