The AppDeploy Library Is Now Free Online
The AppDeploy Library is no longer being distributed on DVD. For those that paid for subscriptions refunds for any outstanding deliveries have been arranged. If you have outstanding issues of the AppDeploy Library after March 2008 and have not been contacted, please provide your order details to support.
Why was the AppDeploy Library discontinued?The AppDeploy Library was initially created as a means of generating revenue for the site. Exclusive materials were developed for customers, particularly a series of training videos. Manufacturing and fulfillment is not the business of AppDeploy and an increasing amount of time was being required to maintain this resource. It is the focus of AppDeploy is to provide the best online resource possible, and to that end many of the materials provided via the DVD series will now be made available to all members of the community free of charge. What has become of the AppDeploy Library materials?The videos are now provided free online: http://www.appdeploy.com/video. Some documents exclusive to the library are now provided in the articles area of the site: http://www.appdeploy.com/articles Can I obtain a copy of the offline delivery that was offered on the DVD?No. The offline content generation system that was used to create these offline archives is no longer being maintained. The viewer application used to manage these documents is also no longer being developed. If there is sufficient demand an alternative offline solution may be pursued. If this is important to you and/or if you have any suggestions, please share them in the Off Topic forum. What has become of PackageCleaner?The PackageCleaner software is no longer available. AppDeploy intends to develop and offer tools to the community in the future, but the PackageCleaner application and the database on which it relied have not been maintained for quite some time. Even to offer it as a free tool would require certain updates including updates to the setup, application code and license agreement. If you had purchased the PackageCleaner product years ago and need to download it again, please request it along with your order details (Contact AppDeploy).
